- This sub-sub-series includes includes all the documents collected in the field and the materials for preparation and study in a long article dedicated by Kahle to the lament for the dead in Egyptian tradition, “Die Totenklage im heutigen Aegypten” (1923). The archive contains three original texts in Arabic transcription, collected in Tanta, Cairo and Luxor.
