- Manuscript copy of the first drafts of the dirges recorded in Cairo, Ṭanṭa and Luxor. The file contains the drafts of the following materials: - the text, transliterated and translated, mentioned by Kahle as “A” that was recorded in Cairo; - the text, transliterated and translated, mentioned by Kahle as “B” that was recorded in Ṭanṭa; - the text, transliterated and translated, mentioned by Kahle as “C” that was recorded in Luxor. At the foot of the pages of each text Paul Kahle added notes and linguistic comments. In pencil he added further notes.
