Description: Original copy of the transcription made by Dschirius Jusif and his sister of the texts edited by Paul Kahle and Hans Schmidt in «Volkserzählungen aus Palästina gesammelt bei den Bauern von Bir-Zet und in Verbindung mit Dschirius Jusif in Jerusalem». The stories are arranged following a progressive and “new” numeration, that corresponds to that in which the texts were later edited. However, the texts have a previous numeration, marked in black ink as “Gesch[ichte]” and followed by a number. Thus, Paul Kahle wrote the new “number of the edition” on one side in red ink. Kahle wrote his notes and remarks in red ink.
