- Ninety-four letters or postcards from Kurt Aland to Kahle, both typewritten and manuscript, and 100 typewritten or manuscript drafts by Kahle; a few documents enclosed (e.g. an invoice). A number of letters written by various colleagues of K. Aland (including Kahle) concerning newspaper reports about Aland, kept in one big envelope with two press clippings glued to backing papers. One empty envelope, one letter (typewritten draft) from Kahle to Cross and letters from Theologische Literaturzeitung, George Licester, and Forschungen und Fortschritte enclosed.
