Description
- Complete typewritten translation into English made by Dunlop of ʻAlī Akbar's «Khaṭāy-nāma». There are different versions, all typewritten; the first one seems to be the one kept in a cardboard folder, on the cover page of which it is written: “Khitai nameh. Translation given to me by Paul Kahle the translator in London, Dec. 1952. Ali Ekber. English Translation. About 40,000 words. Preliminary translation – not to be published. Chap. IX – missing but commentary is there”. Note: In the 9th Chapter, someone (Chang Hsing-Lang?) wrote in Chinese the names of the administrations and provinces of China.
