- A number of pages containing various manuscript notes in Arabic relating to the figure of al-ṣāniʻa. In the article, “A Gypsy Woman in Egypt in the Thirteenth Century, A.D.”, Kahle edited the transcription and the English translation of a zaǧal taken from Ibn Dāniyāl’s «Ṭayf al-Ḫayāl» recited by a Gypsy woman called al-ṣāniʻa, i.e. “the woman who performs something”.
