Description
- Galley proofs of the “Appendix I: Partes commentarii a Rasario fictae” and “Appendix II Mosis Maimonidis Aphorismorum Praefatio and Excerpta a Paulo Kahle tractata” published in «Galeni in Platonis Timaeum commentarii fragmenta collegit, disposuit, explicavit», ed. by O. Schröder, Leipzig 1934 (Corpus Medicorum Graecorum Suppl. I). The text of Maimonides, edited in Arabic and translated into German by Paul Kahle, was published as !Appendix" to the study of O. Schröder dedicated to a treatise of Galen that provides comments on the medical portion of the «Timaeus». The «Aphorisms» of Maimonides discusses a few divergences with Galen on minor points. Kahle transcribed, translated and discussed various excerpts on Maimonides, quoted in various Arabic sources on medicine, and the «maqāla»s of Maimonides’s «Aphorisms» («fuṣūl») as preserved in an assortment of manuscripts.
