- Various materials on and for Samaritan studies. Part of the documentation was originally kept together in envelopes or folders, part was loose. 1) Small original folder with lecture notes on (a) an article on Samaritan Targum, written by Silvestre de Sacy, and published in “Mémoires de l’Académie des Inscriptions” 49, p. 84 sqq.; (b) an article by Hayyim Selig Slonimski published in Ha-Maggid (Lyck, 17 November 1869) on astronomical passages in the Samaritan Chronicle; (c) W. Gesenius, De Samaritanorum theologia ex fontibus ineditis commentatio, Halle 1882; (d) J. Wellhausen, Die Rückkehr der Juden aus dem babylonischen Exyl, Nachrichten der Kgl. Ges. Der Wiss. Zu Göttingen, philol.-hist. Klasse, 1895, 166-186 5) structure of Mishnah and Jewish calendar. 2) Original envelope with various Samaritan materials including (a) photos of Samaritan manuscripts; (b) copy of Nachträge und Verbesserung of von Gall's “Hebräischer Pentateuch der Samaritaner”. 3) Materials loose, without original envelopes: (a) various notes on Samaritan subjects; (b) one manuscript page by Paul Kahle with a copy of a Samaritan treatise on grammar; (b) some notes on “Samaritan Chronicle”; (d) various notes on Samaritans (in no given order and without any title); (e) 1 sheet on Samaritan Arabic 1 sheet on Samaritan Targum to Ex. 4,24ss., 1 sheet with Samaritan bibliography with reference to two articles; (f) copy of various colophons of Cambridge University Library of Ms. Add. 1846; (g) article (probably unpublished) entitled “Der Pentateuch der Samaritaner” on von Gall's edition of Samaritan Pentateuch.
