Description: Folder containing several series of cards that refer to various topics. It is possible to identify the following topics: a) series of cards containing titles of the manuscripts catalogued by Paul Kahle for the Chester Beatty Library, with further reference to Brockelmann; b) a series of cards containing titles of manuscripts preserved in Istanbul (series labeled with “AS”); c) series of cards containing names of fellāḥs (in all likelihood those interviewed by Paul Kahle and Hans Schmidt for their study on the folk narratives of Bir Zeit); d) series of cards containing names of German scholars and brief references of their curricula; e) series of cards containing phases taken from various manuscripts (labeled as A, B, C, D) in all likelihood relating to Ibn Iyās; f) series of cards containing terms (and/or phrases in which these terms are quoted); g) series of cards referring to Mamluk and Ottoman history; h) “Notizien”: a series of cards written by Paul Kahle, in alphabetical order, that refer to fruits and vegetables.
