- Complete typewritten copy of the drafts of the “Introduction” to the fourth volume of Ibn Iyās’s «Badāʼiʻ al-zuhūr fī waqā’iʻ al-duhūr» . The excerpts of the Arabic texts quoted in the Introduction were not written by Kahle himself (but rather, probably, by Muḥammad Muṣṭafā who transcribed the entire text in Arabic). The drafts have numerous notes of revision by Kahle and a second hand (unknown).
