Description: Two copies of the proof pages of the article “Die Schätze der Fatimiden”, with notes and revisions by Paul Kahle. The article concerns a few passages of al-Maqrīzī’s «Ḫiṭaṭ», who, writing in the 15th century, reports that the Fāṭimid caliph al-Mustansir (1036-94.) possessed entire rooms full of porcelain. Kahle deleted the name of Kurt Röder from the proofs pages dated 22 November 1935. Note that, in the same volume of «Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft», Röder published another article, following that of Kahle, entitled “Das Mīnā im Bericht über die Schätze der Fatimiden”.
